// Real Life Student Ministries (RLSM) is for students in 6th to 12th grade.
We meet on Wednesday nights from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the Chapel of RLC. Our program features live music, games, relevant biblical teachings, and small discussion groups. RLSM is designed to help students process the truth of the Bible and relate it to their lives in practical ways.
NextGen is a discipleship group for students in 6th to 8th grade that meets during our Sunday service on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month. Render is a discipleship group for students in 9th to 12th grade that meets during our Sunday the 1st Sunday of each month. Both groups are dismissed from the main service after Worship. The groups meet in the Study.
We also believe in equipping students to make a difference in their world. We have an emphasis on missions through a program called Speed-The-Light, which encourages students to set financial goals to help raise money for people around the world. We also do several service projects through out the year, and take service trips to give students and opportunity to serve others in practical ways.
RLC is currently partnering with the Sheridan Story which is a program that helps provide food for students on the weekends that otherwise would not have food to eat. The second Friday of each month we go to RAMS and handout food. If you would like to get involved with serving our schools, please talk to Pastor Miranda.
We also have other smaller connect events throughout the year which provide an opportunity for students to build relationships with one another as well as our leadership team.
As a ministry, we are committed to helping teenagers reach their full God-given potential. We have a committed leadership team that loves students and wants to see them succeed. We take teenage ministry very seriously, but we have lots and lots of fun along the way!
